[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Road trips can be a little tricky with pets! If you’re not familiar with the cities you’re driving through, it can often be stressful and sometimes impossible to find pet-friendly restaurants and activities stromectol cena. Since living in Austin, TX we’ve become spoiled with how dog-friendly most places are around here. We love it!
On one of our road trips, we decided to take a little detour through Little Rock, Arkansas. At the time we only had one of our two pups, Sparrow! She’s a fluffy, Cavapoo (King Charles Cavalier + Mini Poodle) who is now two years old. We were so surprised to find so many dog-friendly places![/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”290″ img_size=”600×400″][vc_column_text]The Root Cafe
This place has some funky hours but so worth the wait! They source all their food locally with the goal of supporting Arkansas farmers and producers. Their drinks are so tasty and well thought out! Our favorites were the Lemon Lavender Spritzer and their Old Fashioned. Since they source everything locally, the menu is always changing. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious!
One of my favorite parts was their style. They have cute little mismatch plates and tablecloths. It definitely makes you feel like you’re a part of the local family. Not to mention, the staff was so sweet and welcoming.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”294″ img_size=”500 x 500 “][vc_column_text]South Main Creative
This is such a cute little shop! Their building matches their logo and is full of life. There were so many unique antiques and art pieces as well as high-quality clothing from local designers. There was something fascinating in every corner of the store! And yes, Sparrow got to walk through the entire store without restrictions![/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”300″ img_size=”500 x 500″][vc_column_text]MacArthur Dog Park
For whatever reason, I didn’t expect to find a dog park here but we did! This dog park is an unleashed park with so much space for your fur babies! We got to meet so many new people there that were able to fill us in on what places the locals love. We didn’t get to stop here but it was highly recommended- Bark Bar. Sparrow left having made new friends and tired. A tired pup is always convenient on long road trips.
Although our stop was quick, we loved our experience in Little Rock! Next time we go we will have to spend some time exploring its history a little more.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
